"We have already started work, and by 2027 we will have about six multimodal logistics centers that will connect the Central part of Russia and the Far East. We are planning to develop transport centers in Omsk, the Amur Region, Perm, Saratov, Samara, Dmitrov, as well as the one successfully launched in Sviyazhsk," he said.
Tarasenko noted the prospects for cooperation with Kazakhstan and Belarus. According to him, negotiations are currently underway with Kazakhstan on the full restoration of traffic along the Irtysh River in the North-South direction, which will connect China, Kazakhstan and the Northern Sea Route. "We are currently negotiating with Kazakhstan to fully restore the North-South direction. Through the hub on the Irtysh River, we can organize communication from China to Sabetta, cargo can be sent in transit both in one direction and the other," he specified.
